ASIAN WOMEN IN THE ARTS - August 18, 2006
FOUNDATION(S): IN THE RAW
We are the make-up of what is real, true and beautiful in our communities.
Boston Progress, an Asian American Artists Collective, is showcasing
the raw talents and creativity of Asian American women in the arts -
defying the social and cultural expectations beyond the narrowed
perceptions about our community's innovation, potential and power. The
show features Somerville and other artists including Diem Dangers,
Sahra Nguyen and Theresa Hwang.
Opening night: Friday 18th of August 8-10pm
Location: East Meets West Bookstore, 934 Mass Ave, Cambridge.
