FREE FLUTE CONCERT - August 2, 2006
Come hear and see the Willow Flute Ensemble in our last free concert of the summer!

We'll be playing works by Handel, Schickele, Telemann, a salute to summer in the form of baseball, and Venezuelan folk tunes specifically arranged for Willow.(45 minutes...it's even a pleasant length.)
The Willow Flute Ensemble is comprised of 13 flutists from all over eastern MA and southern NH, three of whom reside in Somerville. The ensemble performed at the Somerville Community Growing Center last month, and has previously performed at the Somerville Library and Brickbottom Artists Association.
