The Art Selection Committee of the Meditative Rooftop Environment of the Tisch Library at Tufts University invites artists/designers/teams to forward qualifications for a public art environment in a rooftop setting with spectacular views of Boston to serve as a focal point for the campus. The final design may feature the following elements: landscape design, structures that accommodate seating, lighting and sculptural features that encourage quiet contemplation and reflection. The art
selection process will be facilitated by the UrbanArts Institute at
Massachusetts College of Art (UrbanArts). Budget: $150,000 all-inclusive budget. Finalists will receive a $1,000 honorarium. Open to all professional artists.
