Paul Johnson is internationally recognized for his pioneering workin developing literacy through the book arts, and as a paper and book artist. Author of over fifteen titles including A Book of One's Own,Literacy through the Book Arts and Pop-up Paper Engineering, he directed the Book Art Project at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) until recently. His work is in the collections of the Cooper- Hewitt Museum in New York, the National Gallery, the Library of Congress, the University of California at Berkley and Yale University, among other institutions. Paul resides in Manchester, England, and presents workshops internationally. He exhibits widely and has been elected to the UK Craft Council's select index of British designer-makers.
