WHAT: Underground Arts Performance Festival
plus: Debut of ArtsUnion Crafts Market 2006

WHERE: Union Square Plaza

DOCTOR G.M. FASTIDIOUS & A PLETHORA OF PERPLEXITIES
will descend upon Union Square Saturday July 22nd. Joining him, a cadre of spurious
but wondrous actors, dancers, musicians, puppeteers and other
performers will confound and delight spectators in this FREE outdoor
event.
Performers include The Grindhouse Marionettes, Katt
Hernandez, Lisa Bufano, Crank
Sturgeon, Doctor Selenium, Jamie
McLaughlin, and Matt Somalis, among others. All
are luminaries in the local underground arts scene, and now the public
will get an opportunity to view these talents in the open air in Union
Square.

CRAFTS MARKET:
Join us for the first ArtsUnion Crafts Market! Each craft market will
feature a different lineup of craftsters (although many vendors will
participate in several different markets). This year, crafts markets
will run each Saturday, from July 22 to October 7, and will be held in
conjunction with the Union Square Farmers Market. The markets will
also include live entertainment; the schedule follows.
