  Does Your Life Need More Sparkle?  Add some glitter, friendship and fun in belly dance class.  Register for summer belly dance classes with Nadira Jamal.    Belly dance class is a safe and friendly place to have fun, meet new friends, and move creatively. It is suitable for all ages (preteen+), genders, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. It emphasizes safe and correct technique, creativity, and fun!    You'll learn:    - Elegant dance posture  - Classic belly dance moves  - Traveling steps  - Graceful arm moves  - Combinations, to help you learn how the moves fit together - Elementary improvisation skills, so you can let go and just dance - Introductory finger cymbals Suitable for complete newbies and beginners with up to a year of recent classroom experience.    Schedule:  10 weeks: 6/5/2017 – 8/21/2017  (No class on June 26th and August 14th)  Pricing and registration:  Price:  $225 for the full session, or $28/week drop-in, space permitting.  Registration opens May 8th at noon at:  http://ift.tt/2pWHSfb     LEVEL 2: Skills and Zils Wednesdays, 7:45-9:15pm    Ready to move beyond the basics of belly dance?  In Level 1, you built your technical foundation. In this class, you'll start building your performance foundation.    You'll learn:  - more challenging technique  - traveling steps  - shimmy layering  - stagecraft and performance skills  - finger cymbals  - improvisation  This is a multi-level class suitable for advanced beginner through high intermediate students. Variations will be provided, to keep everyone comfortably challenged.
